"In 2012 Atalaia performed two separate, complete bathroom renovations at my daughter’s house near Ryerson University in Toronto. Choosing the right general contractor was important in our case as my daughter didn’t know anything about bathroom renovations and I live 90 minutes away. We needed a contractor that could ask the important questions at the start of the project, provide a detailed quotation of the work and timeline and most importantly deliver on the promises made in the quotation.

My daughter chose and purchased the materials using the quantities and suppliers recommended by Nilson. The renovations were done while my daughter and her four roommates occupied the house. Nilson made sure his crew respected the girl’s school schedule and that the work site was cleaned after each day’s work. Nilson and his crew treated the girls with respect and took care of many time-consuming details that cropped up as the projects neared completion.

After the first, downstairs bathroom project was complete there was no question that Nilson and Atalaia would be  chosen to do the second, upstairs bathroom. Both projects look fantastic, work as designed and surely add to the enjoyment and value of the property. "Nilson and his team were complete professionals; extremely courteous and very punctual. They delivered everything they said that they would on time and on budget. Nilson and his designer worked with our vision and made recommendations to meet our goal. His team was hard workers and very clean, there was never a mess, although the house was gutted from top to bottom.

Nilson followed up post our move in and even came back in to complete touch ups to the walls from moving dings.
